Part Two - 1977: Pages 349 - 382 Summary

Craig Mellow drives Samson Kumalo home to Khami mission after both lost their jobs with the park's board. Before dropping Samson off, they stop at the cemetery, and Craig finds his interest in his own history rekindled. He drops Samson and continues on to King's Lynn to see his grandfather. When he gets there, he is disappointed to find it has changed. Many of the updates have been done to protect against intrusion, but Craig still misses the jacaranda trees planted by Zouga cut down to accommodate the ten foot security fence.
