Chapters 11, 12 and 13 Summary

In Chapter 11, it is dark the next morning at the bus stop. At school, workmen are installing stadium lights throughout the campus. The sun finally rises at lunchtime. At the same time the sun comes up, Julia notices a girl that looks just like Hanna. She discovers that it is Hanna but is surprised that Hanna had not told her they were back. When Julia asks Hanna why she wasn't at the bus stop, Hanna tells her that she spent the night at Tracey's house. Tracey walks up with lunch for herself and Hanna. They are wearing identical outfits. Tracey and Hanna walk off together when the bell rings. At soccer practice, Hanna barely speaks to Julia. Julia invites Hanna over but she declines the invitation. Julia remembers the way that Hanna had treated the girl who had been Hanna's best...
