Crucifix

A wounded soldier Cassie comes into contact with has a crucifix that Cassie mistakes for a gun, leading her to kill the man.

Locket

Ben has a locket he accidentally tore from his sister’s neck the night the men stole her away. Ben keeps it to remind him of his guilt. At one point, Ben gives the locket to Sammy to show that he means to make good on a promise.

Teddy Bear

Sammy gives Cassie his teddy bear to keep her spirits up while they are separated. Cassie keeps the teddy bear with her and returns it to Sammy when she goes to rescue him.

The Eye

The Eye is an alien bomb that Cassie sees first when the soldiers blow up her refugee camp and later when she infiltrates the military base.
