Chapter 78

When Vosch leaves, a clock begins to count down in Ben’s head. He waits impatiently for the orderly Kistner to disconnect his IV. After he does, Ben waits for Kistner to go to another patient before he begins to insist on going to the bathroom. Kistner is angry because he does not want Ben to tear a suture. Ben calls Kistner to help him, but instead of letting him help, Ben knocks Kistner unconscious and steals his scrubs. Ben then goes to the surgical area and uses a scalpel to remove his transmitter.
