Part 2, Wonderland: Chapters 25-30

Chapter 25

Ben Parish is dying of the Ebola virus in a tent outside a refugee camp. His former tent-mate, Chris, comes to check on him. A raid begins on the camp not long after Chris leaves. Two soldiers come into Ben’s tent and press some kind of disc to his head. They decide he is not infected and should go with them. Ben has no clue what they are talking about.

Chapter 26

Ben is taken to the quarantine section of the base hospital and treated with medications. Miraculously, Ben survives. When he is better, Ben is visited by a doctor who tells him they are going to need him.
