Part II: Murder. Murder Everywhere

Chapter 34:

Yuki's mind is muddled. She recalls Dr. Pierce offering condolences over Keiko's death. Yuki remembers Lindsay taking her home and putting her to bed. When Yuki wakes she calls the hospital. Some callous person tells Yuki that her mother is in the hospital basement - the morgue. Yuki is furious. Yuki goes to the hospital and demands to know what happened to Keiko. The nurse says they cannot give out information without a medical power of attorney. Yuki is incredulous. She insists on seeing Dr. Garza.

Chapter 35:

Yuki goes to see Garza. Garza is annoyed at being interrupted. His manner is extremely cold. Yuki demands to know what happened to Keiko. The doctor says she had a stroke and died. End of story. Yuki is livid. The man offers no sincere...
