Bryon woke up with a bad hangover and went to work at the supermarket. Although he put bread in the bottom of a bag instead of on top and he offended a customer, he did not lose his job.

After Bryon got off work, Mark took him to look for M&M. They went to a house in an older part of town where many of the old homes had been made into flats. They went into a hippie house to ask around for M&M. Everyone there seemed to know Mark and it was clear to Bryon that Mark had been there many times before. Mark asked around, but nobody had seen "Baby Freak."

On the way home, Mark was upset with Bryon for being judgmental and closed-minded. Bryon was afraid that maybe Mark had started smoking marijuana, but Mark assured him...
