Emlen Academy

Emlen Academy is the prestigious boarding school from which Hal and Danny both graduated. Beatrice attended the school for a while, but she was expelled after she spray-painted the word "rapist" on the door of a boy’s dorm room. Hal and Daisy have to visit Emlen in person to talk to the dean about Beatrice’s behavior. After Diana learns the name of the boy who raped her, she visits Emlen to search through yearbooks and identify the other boys who contributed to the assault.

King Cole Bar

The King Cole Bar in New York is the bar where Diana and Daisy met for the first time. Daisy was excited by the prospect of meeting a new friend. Diana, however, was pretending to be a consultant in a major firm. She was uncomfortable in the high-priced bar and disturbed by how much she enjoyed Daisy's company...
