Chapters 10 and 11 Summary

The following morning, Patrick wakes, missing Megan and Tim. He notes that it's a "beautiful day", but that there seems to be no reason to get up without Megan in his bed and Tim downstairs. He walks around Williamsburg with his family, but the thoughts of Dave on Megan's couch continues to haunt him. He finally says he has a "medical emergency" to tend to and leaves. He goes to Megan's house, gives Dave a shot of Novocain and an inflatable donut pillow to sit on and sends him home.

Megan has been dealing with Dave and his demands long enough to be sick of it. She notes that he has a little bell to summon her for whatever he needs and that she's also sick of that sound. Dave tells.....
