Summary

Page 101 – 103—Postscript one explains that it is now 2017, and Luiselli has finally received her green card. Luiselli describes her disgust with the state of American and Mexican politics. In postscript two, Luiselli explains how she should have known the state of American politics due to an incident with her daughter putting on white face-paint to get ready “for when Trump is president” (102). Postscript three gives an update on TIIA, which held its first public on September 26, 2016, the same as the first presidential debate.
