Chapter 6 Summary

Annie and Brian talk about Finola. Brian seems to like FInola since she says nice things about him. Annie does not seem to care. Her main concern is that she cannot see Kitty because her parents don't like Kitty. Even Kitty is surprised by this.

Ria is contacted by Greg's brother Andy. They make a date. Greg checks in with Marilyn to learn more about Ria.

Colm and Marilyn become friendly and speak often. Annie and Brian spend time at Tara Road with Marilyn. They get along well. Nora also likes Marilyn.

Danny and Bernadette take Finola and the children on a cruise on the Shannon.

Rosemary becomes wise to Barney's money troubles. Polly's Dress Hire is advertised for sale. The accountant tells Rosemary that Barney has bounced an $11,000 check. Rosemary becomes concerned and tries to reach Danny to no avail.
