Klonopin

Klonopin is the name of a drug used primarily for the control of seizures and panic disorder, but Paul uses this drug for recreational purposes quite often throughout the novel.

Adderall

Adderall is a stimulant used to treat narcolepsy and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Paul uses this drug regularly for his own pleasure.

Xanax

Xanax is a prescription drug used for the control of various panic disorders. Paul uses Xanax regularly, though not as often as Klonopin or Adderall.

MDMA

MDMA is generally known as ecstasy, and Paul does copious amounts throughout the novel.

iPod

Paul brings his iPod most places, and often uses it in social settings as a means whereby he can avoid interacting with people.

MacBook

Similar in nature to his iPod, Paul takes his MacBook almost everywhere. Eventually, he starts recording his drug trips on it while he is with Erin.
