Look through a recent newspaper to find a story about a tragic incident or other human interest story. Choose four people related to the incident (either by taking names from the story or by imagining related people) and write one page about the incident from each person's point of view. Following Banks's example, keep in mind each person's background, occupation, and personality when writing on his or her behalf.
