Summary

Nichole Burnell is a fourteen-year-old girl who survives the school bus accident but suffers a spinal cord injury causing her to have no feeling in her legs and to need a wheelchair. Mitchell Stephens would like to use Nichole’s testimony to show the jury how her life has changed for the worse because of the accident. Before her injury, Nichole was a beautiful eighth grader, a smart girl who had been voted the Harvest Queen.
