Swamplandia!

Swamplandia! was the name of the alligator-themed amusement park built on one of the Ten Thousand Islands southwest of Florida by Sam Bigtree’s father. Sam and Hilola Bigtree raised their family on this island. A good deal of the action of the novel takes place on the island of Swamplandia!

The Gator Pit
