Summary

Kiwi and his friends made a trip to Pa-Hay-Okee Gaming. After they’d finished the all you can eat buffet, Kiwi recognized the man who was making announcements for the beauty pageant as his father. Kiwi realized it was through this job that his father was raising money for his family. He realized all his father’s jaunts had probably been to work in the casino or places like it to earn money. After the pageant was finished Kiwi watched as a man he supposed was his dad’s boss began yelling at him for something. Kiwi expected his father to take the man out but was surprised when he sat calmly and took the criticism.
