Section 3 Katie pp. 47-51. Summary

Katie takes a break from reading the diary and cuddles Guinevere. She tries to stop sobbing and looks around at her house. She had liked nothing better than to put on work clothes and build cabinets and do other woodworking around her home. She had gathered things from her family around her and made her home cozy. Finally she forces herself to acknowledge her liking for Suzanne. If she had met her without Matt, she and Suzanne would have been good friends.

Katie couldn't believe that she had trusted Matt so much. She is an adulteress. How had that happened? Matt wouldn't talk about his past but he had sworn that he was not married. She would never forget July 18. She had cooked a special dinner. She had the music in the CD. The stage was set for two big surprises...
