Summary

In Chapter 5, titled Aisle Nine, Flynn continued to get to know the other employees at the supermarket. These included Cara, a young woman who worked in the store's coffee shop (and whom Frank claimed to have had sex with), Hector, the security guard, and DayDay, the electrician (Muldoon's had chronic electricity problems). Flynn explains that, once a week, an armored truck driver came to pick up the store's money from the safe. In addition to bragging about his sexual conquests, Frank told Flynn he was stealing money from the cash register. Flynn also met Mia Torres, a bakery employee he was immediately attracted to. They got to know each other over the span of a few days.
