Dave Robicheaux

Robicheaux is an investigator who works for the New Iberia Sheriff's Department in New Iberia Parish, Louisiana. Robicheaux is an avid fisherman who spends good deal of time on the water. Robiheaux's first wife, Annie, was murdered some years ago and Robicheaux is still haunted by her death. Currently, Robicheaux lives with his second wife, known only as Bootsie, and their adopted daughter, Alafair. Robicheaux owns a bait shop and can often be found there with his old friend and former Homicide partner, Clete Purcel. Robicheaux grew up in New Iberia and he is familiar with many of the people who live there.
