Chapters 22 - 28 Summary

While out fishing in Chapter 22, Clete Purcel tells Robicheaux that Swede Boxleiter stole jewelry and valuables from Elijah Terrebonne's wife's casket in the family crypt on the Terrebonne estate.

Billy Holtzner pays Clete 200 dollars to fire Swede Boxleiter from the movie security crew. Later, Robicheaux tells Cool Breeze what really happened to Ida. Cool Breeze is sure that he was not the father of Ida's baby. Robicheaux makes Cool Breeze promise to steer clear of Alex Guidry.

Robicheaux and Helen Soileau talk to Cisco Flynn on a remote movie set. Robicheaux sees Billy Holtzner and his daughter, Geri, eating lunch with two Chinese men there. Cisco tells Robicheaux that the two Chinese gentlemen are studio accountants.
