Summary

In Chapter 39, a man named Will approached Vix at a fall fundraiser. They made out in a cab on the way home. They saw each other three times that week. Vix began to wonder what it would be like to marry a rich man. Even though she liked the attention, she found Will arrogant and sometimes boring. She knew she didn’t love him. When he asked for her family history and she told him, he thought she was making up her story. On the way home she told him they were over. Paisley criticized Victoria for her decision to break up with Will. She thought Victoria was still hung up with Bru.
