Summary

In Chapter 35, Maia helped Vix and Paisley buy career clothes. Because of a stock market crash Maia lost her job on the very first day she wore one of the outfits she’d bought. After a short scare when hypochondriac Maia convinced herself she had ovarian cancer, she applied to law school. Caitlin dropped by the apartment in New York that Vix shared with Paisley and Maia. She had a brief conversation with Paisley in which Paisley sarcastically told Caitlin she was living out everyone’s fantasy. In the cab on the way to Lamb and Abby’s house Caitlin gave Vix an antique piano shawl as a graduation gift.
