"Suite Scarlett" is set in New York City.

The Hopewell

The Hopewell is a small hotel in New York City that is owned and operated by the Martin family. Due to financial difficulties, the Martins have been forced to let go of all of their real employees, so the family tends to the needs of their few guests.

Empire Suite

The Empire Suite is the most expensive room in the Hopewell. Scarlett is given the key to the Empire Suite for her fifteenth birthday, indicating that taking care of the room is her responsibility. The next day, Mrs. Amberson checks into the Empire Suite for the summer.
