Chapters Thirteen and Fourteen Summary

In Chapter Thirteen, when Meredith goes back to the complex, Nigel calls her to his porch. Nigel tells her that he doesn't like that her father has already started harassing her. He puts a cardboard box containing what appears to be a smoke detector and a teddy bear in her lap. Nigel explains that both items are nanny cams. He plans to start building a case for when something happens. Nigel insists that her father will start molesting again and that the children in town aren't safe until he is back in jail.
