Chamberlain Home

A good deal of the action in this novel takes place in the Chamberlain house. It is in this house that Alix invites Emira to Thanksgiving dinner, and then learns on Thanksgiving that Emira is dating Kelley. Laney and Peter also decide to tape the news segment with Alix and Emira about the Market Depot incident at the Chamberlain house. Emira announces during this interview that she does not plan to work for Alix like she originally indicated but will instead be taking a job full time with the Green Party.

Market Depot

Market Depot is a high-end, traditionally white grocery store to which Alix asks Emira to take Briar when the police come to investigate the broken window in the Chamberlain's home.
