Summary

In Chapter 6, Alix developed the habit of checking Emira’s cellphone for any information she might be able to glean from it. She was particularly interested in Emira’s new boyfriend. One night, Alix shared a bottle of wine with Emira, hoping to get some personal information given to her. When Alix learned that Emira was going out with her boyfriend, Alix suggested that Emira take the rest of the bottle of wine with her. Emira lied and told Alix she met her date on the train.

In Chapter 7, at the restaurant, Kelley was shocked when Emira showed him the bottle of wine that Alix had given her.
