Shawn McDaniel

Shawn McDaniel is fourteen years old with all the same wants and desires as any other fourteen-year-old boy. Shawn has crushes on attractive teachers and the young girlfriends of his sister. Shawn is also a genius, capable of remembering everything he has seen and heard since he was four years old. However, Shawn is incapable of sharing this gift with the people in his life because he has cerebral palsy. Shawn's cerebral palsy is so severe that he is incapable of controlling a single muscle in his body. Shawn cannot eat in a normal way, he cannot walk, he cannot talk, and he cannot focus his eyes at will. Shawn spends most of his time sitting in a wheelchair, watching the world pass him by.
