It is breakfast time the next morning. Shawn's mother feeds him from a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle bowl as she has done for many years, but today she is not as careful to be sure the oatmeal stays in his mouth, so Shawn knows there is something on her mind. When they are finished, Shawn's mother calls his brother and sister into the living room, leaving Shawn by his window in the kitchen where he can see into the living room. Lindy tells Paul and Cindy that their father is working on a new project, a book about a man named Earl Detraux. Shawn and Cindy know instantly whom she is talking about, but someone has to tell Paul. Detraux is a man who killed his two-year-old son because he had a seizure.....
