Chapter 26 Summary

Erin takes Angela for a movie and then some shopping. Erin buys her new clothes and new Barbie dolls. Angela wants to know when she can go home with Erin. She is concerned with her father's well being, but isn't interested in living with him. Angela wants Erin to be careful and not get in trouble like Darrell.

Darrell pays his sister Rita a visit. They talk about his bleak prospects of a future. He wants to take Angie back and leave the state. He steals a car from Rita's neighbor.
