Chapter 21 Summary

Dilbeck lays on his bed wearing a black cowboy hat, a white towel, and a pair of green lizard skin boots. One arm and both legs are tied to the bed with handkerchiefs. His lower legs are covered in Vaseline. The room is lit with black light. Erb Crandall walks in and asks what is going on. Dilbeck says he is creating a mood. Dilbeck asks if Crandall got him what he wanted. Yes, Crandall did. It was Crandall who broke into Erin's apartment at Dilbeck's request. The object of his theft: one pink disposable razor. Crandall, thoroughly disgusted at what he sees, pulls out a screwdriver and holds it to Dilbeck's throat. He resists the urge to puncture Dilbeck's jugular. Dilbeck then asks Crandall for one more favor, to shave him all.....
