Chapter 14 Summary

Paul Guber, his fiancee Joyce, and Mordecai go for a drive. Paul refuses to participate in Mordecai's plan to sue Dilbeck despite the fact that they might be looking at a $2-3 million settlement. Guber doesn't want his employer learning of the strip club incident. Mordecai tells him he is suffering from diminished capacity: his head injury is affecting his judgment. In confidence, Joyce suggests that perhaps they can pursue the suit without Guber's knowledge.

Erin arrives at the club and is startled to see the Eager Beaver sign coming down. Apparently a chainsaw company of the same name has threatened a lawsuit. The new name of the club will be Tickled Pink. Erin is not tickled with the new name.

Sgt. Garcia spends the morning at a rockpit outside Hialeah. He is working on.....
