Chapter 12 Summary

A new girl, Marvela, shows up at the club and gives Erin competition for the top dancer spot. Erin is upset and tells Urbana about Killian's death; it was possibly a murder and that she might be indirectly involved.

Erin goes home and calls Angela. She speaks with her briefly until Darrell picks up the phone. She warns Darrell not to use Angela in his wheelchair stealing schemes for fear she'll be taken away by the state.

Erin visits her former FBI boss, Tom Cleary, late at night. She explains her problems with Darrell. She suggests something about the judge being corrupt. Cleary is mildly interested, but needs more proof. Erin doesn't tell Cleary about Killian's death for fear he will be upset at having given her previous information about Killian.

Erb Crandall visits Moldowsky's home.....
