Chapter 10 Summary

Shad visits the psychiatrist as instructed by Mordecai. As the examination turns from Shad's alleged bad dreams about the roach to questions about his mother, Shad flips out. He throws the doctor face down on the floor and cuts his clothes from neck to buttocks. Shad grabs a rubber stamp and stamps the doctor's back until he runs out of ink. Shad calls the psychiatrist a phony. The doctor calls him disturbed.
