Summary

In Chapter 55, Thyon Nero walked to the anchor in Weep. He found a solution to Weep’s problem. He performed some tests on the anchor to be certain that he had manipulated the mesarthium. Thyon left and Drave went to inspect Thyon’s work after the alchemist was gone.

In Chapter 56, Lazlo was upset that he had crushed Sarai’s moth and interrupted his dream with Sarai. Lazlo fell back asleep, as Sarai waited for him. Lazlo brought Sarai to the wingsmiths in his dream, so that they could fly. They both picked out wings and flew to the anchor. There, Lazlo had remade the beast Rasalas into a beautiful creature. Lazlo told Sarai that Eril-Fane wanted to go up to the citadel to meet her, but Sarai insisted that it would be impossible for the godspawn to declare a truce...
