Summary

In Chapter 49, Thyon Nero stayed up to replicate the results of his experiment from the previous night. He was determined to prove that the success of his experiment, which he kept secret, was scientific, not mystical.

In Chapter 50, Sarai woke up, thinking about Lazlo and the kiss they shared. She considered if Minya intended to starve her because she had nothing to drink or eat in her isolation.
