Summary

In Chapter 35, Sarai was exhausted because she had nightmares for multiple nights. She thought about Azareen’s beautiful elilith tattoo that was a pattern of apple blossoms which represented fertility. She knew that Azareen hated her elilith because the tattoos became distorted after a pregnancy and Azareen had been pregnant with a godspawn when Eril-Fane slew the gods and freed her. Azareen never looked at the baby when the people in Weep took it away. When Sarai left her room, Minya implied that she would let Sarai sleep peacefully again if Sarai killed Eril-Fane with her moths. Sarai still had not been able to find the Godslayer.
