Part Two: Chapter XIV, The New House Summary and Analysis

This overly detailed chapter finds the Trapp family heading to their new home during a blizzard. Upon arrival, their living room has a dusting of snow because neither windows nor doors shut tight. There is another farm, referred to as the "lower farm", in which Theophile and his family, who is now their employee resides. He helps them move in and set up beds for the first night.
