Stolen is one in a series of books by author Kelley Armstrong that follows the saga of a young werewolf named Elena Michaels. In this installment, Elena meets several members of other supernatural races — witches, half-demons, and vampires among them — who are concerned about a group of humans who pose a danger to all of them. As the group meets in Vermont to discuss the situation, Elena is kidnapped and taken to a hidden compound where young billionaire Tyrone Winsloe has assembled a group of scientists who imprison and study paranormal beings like her. Inside the compound, she learns the extent of the cruelty Winsloe is capable of, but eventually escapes and returns with her friends to bring the experiment to a halt and annihilate everyone involved.
