Summary

This chapter opens with a series of texts as the four friends exchanged information about a going away party that night for Vadik. Sergey was happy he and Vadik had begun talking again and thought it was perhaps for the best that Vadik would be going to Singapore for two years. Sergey and Vica were repairing their relationship, although the apartment where he stayed with the cat had been a source of solace for Sergey. His life was also improving because Cleo, Kisco’s assistant, had contacted him about investing in the app and moving forward with it. Sergey had at first hoped that Vica would encourage him just to drop the idea of the app but she was so excited it had sold that he decided to move forward.
