Charles Dean

Charles Dean is a Desk Three, or Deep Black, covert agent for the NSA. He is in London with Tommy Karr for a meeting with a contact, who is killed in front of them. Dean and Karr have attracted the attention of the police and are eventually released to a British intelligence agent. Dean finishes his duties on London and meets Lia in Frankfurt. They had been lovers at a previous time and he is concerned over her health. He also meets with Chief Inspector Lang to help discern information concerning the death of Kensworth.
