Chapter 21-30 Summary

The next day, Karr and Dean return to London. Karr is going to escort Deidre to Paris and Dean will be returning to the US. Karr leaves and Dean meets the police inspector from the night before, Chief Inspector Lang. Lang has some information about the murdered man and Dean goes with him, despite the protests of the Art Room. They visit the murdered man's sister and learn he had been hired to go to France and then to London. The man's real name was Gordon Pierce and he had been hired by someone he met at the Golden Goose pub.
