Current Laws vs Outdated Ideals

In Starters, written by Lissa Price, we are given a glimpse into a possible future reality in which war has taken a savage toll. All middle aged people are killed when inoculations against an airborne attack are restricted to the very young and the very old. As a result, humanity is divided into two groups - Elders and Starters.
