Chapters Twenty One and Twenty Two Summary

She runs to catch up to Michael, and he asks her what her name is. She looks him over, realizing he is a renter, having only just acquired Michael's body. Announcing he plans to use his new body with abandon, he leans in and licks her from jaw to eye giving Callie the creeps, before hustling off. She stands there replaying the conversation, and realizes that he hadn't said he was a 'renter', but that the new body was his. She chases him to confirm her fears, but loses him in the crowd. Disoriented, she looks around and sees Briona, Raj and Lee. They sit for a moment, and Briona asks if Callie's heard the news regarding permanent purchases. Something about Lee's mannerisms triggers a memory in Callie, but she can't place it...
