Chapters Seventeen and Eighteen Summary

Callie, following Helena's instructions, goes to Institute 37 with a bag of clothes to donate. Once inside, she follows Helena's directions and finds Sara almost immediately. They talk for a few minutes while Callie gives her a sweater, and asks about Emma. Sara claims to have seen her twice. Once she came to the Institute to give the girls a beauty make over, and the second time on the streets in Beverly Hills, but that time Emma hadn't seemed to recognize her. Sara asks Callie if she thinks she's pretty, telling her that a special man is coming to take some of them away for make overs and then important jobs.
