Chapters Nine and Ten Summary

Lee returns Callie to Club Rune, and Briona exchanges phone numbers with her. Callie discovers a wad of cash in her purse - exactly the same amount that she gave to Blake. The next morning she leaves the house and parks a few blocks away. She calls Blake and leaves a message. Later, she meets Lauren for lunch who asks if she still plans to carry out her plan. Not knowing what she is talking about, Callie simply says she doesn't know. Lauren begins to reveal more, telling Callie that murder is wrong and that she still hopes that Kevin is alive somewhere.
