Summary

Nyström takes Harvath and the team to the house of Martin Ingesson, who is Nyström's friend and, coincidentally, Dominik Gashi's boss at the meatpacking plant. (Gashi's decision to work at a meatpacking plant aligns with his truthful nickname, as Ivan Kuznetsov, as "the butcher.") Ingesson, who happens to know where Gashi has been living, leads the team to his shabby house, in the middle of a rural, forested area. The team approaches it with extreme caution, expecting either Gashi to be laying in wait inside, and/or for there to be other booby traps. However, there are no traps and the house is empty. As the team investigates inside, they see a workstation where Gashi apparently runs a side-job of house-sitting for various Gotland residents.
