Chapter 11, Jane, Summary

Jane has been alive in some form or another for a thousand years. Ender is the only person she has ever revealed herself to. Ender is also her top priority, the only person she concentrates on, so when he shuts her off, the top part of her concentration suddenly has nothing to do. Jane is deeply hurt by Ender's disregard and she rewires her mental circuitry to adjust to a life without Ender in it. Jane forgives Ender after a short time and does not decide to abandon him, but he is no longer the priority in her life. Jane then works on Novinha's files, finding the secret that Pipo saw and finally figures out what caused Pipo and Libo's deaths. Jane then arranges for the Starways Congress to find out what Miro and Ouanda have been doing with the piggies...
