Chapter 2, Trondheim, Summary

Andrew Wiggin, or Ender, is now a speaker for the dead who lectures at a university on the planet of Trondheim. While leading a discussion on the Bugger Wars with a handful of students, Ender learns of the death of Pipo through a special jewel implanted in his ear designed to keep him in touch with all the news within the Hundred Worlds. Ender is shocked by the news because he has been following news regarding the piggies since their discovery. He is especially interested in them due to his part in the destruction of the bugger race a few thousand years before.
