Responsibility

Sophie and Carter are two teenagers who, due to circumstances beyond their control, are forced to take on responsibility that should be taken by an adult, not a child. Sophie is forced to care for her three younger siblings because her mother is a drug addict who rarely comes home. Sophie does not want her family separated, therefore she takes on the burden of raising three children even though she herself is still a teenager. Added to Sophie's burden is the need to contact her mother from time to time in order to get money. This causes Sophie to have to dive into the dark world of prostitution in which her mother lives.
