Sophie

Sophie is a high school senior. Sophie is also the eldest of four children. Sophie's mother is a prostitute who has become addicted to drugs in the last few years. For this reason, Sophie's mother is rarely around, leaving Sophie to care for her young siblings whom she refers to as the Littles. This is a huge burden for Sophie that has become easier in recent months because she is now eighteen and can act as guardian to the children at the schools and with doctors.
